Lining Wall Residence is located on the outskirts of Kottayam, near the family’s ancestral home. The design stands out with its long cantilevered porch roof and clean, earthy palette. Inspired by the idea of a ‘lining wall’ that guides and shelters, the architecture flows around a central spine, shaping both open and intimate spaces. Internal courtyards are placed strategically to bring in nature, enhance cross ventilation, and draw daylight deep into the interiors. Large openings further support natural air and light movement, creating a breathable, energy-efficient home. A private backyard adds to the serene atmosphere, offering space for leisure and connection to nature.
